Your child's home away from home.

Community of Maple Child Care Services celebrated 35 years of quality child care services. We are proud of the high quality, early learning programs we provide to over 700 children. Our child care centres offer full-time and part-time programs. We offer programs for children 4 months – 12 years of age during the school year and a summer camp program.

How Does Learning Happen

We are inspired by the philosophy of the Reggio Emilia approach to Early Childhood Education. Many facets of this approach have been incorporated into our curriculum, building on “How Does Learning Happen” Ontario’s pedagogy for early years. Children and staff, together, have explored various topics of interest through project work. The dedication of our staff team is conveyed in their day-to-day work with the children and a strong understanding of early years, energy and enthusiasm within our “home away from home” atmosphere.

Excellence in Licensing Standards

We pride ourselves in achieving and exceeding the provincial licensing standards set out in the Child Care & Early Years Act.

Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System

The Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) system, also know as the National $10-a-day child care initiative, is a transformative plan to make licensed child care more affordable and accessible for families across Canada. Key objectives include lowering child care fees for eligible children, improving wages and increasing access to quality child care programs.

Fees will reduce every year, reaching an average fee of $10/day anticipated by 2026. As of January 2025, maximum child care fee was capped at $22 per day for children under six in CWELCC participating program.

Community of Maple Child Care Services believes that child care provides a strong foundation for early childhood development and the well-being of children. We are committed to providing child care services that meet the needs of children and families. Participating in the CWELCC System will help us continue to provide high quality child care that is accessible, affordable, inclusive, and sustainable. Our families with eligible children, including those with fee subsidy, enrolled in our program will have access to the fee reduction under this system.
